Bryant & Lisa {Orrmont Estate Wedding 6.7.14}My first "official" wedding gallery has been delivered via e-mail! YIPPEE!! Flash drive will be in the mail early next week. It feels good to have that under my belt now. I think I will be a little more at ease the next go round. I definitely learned that Weddings are A LOT of work, and not just for the couple getting married. I have a new level of respect for Wedding photographers. So much goes into the "after" and while it was stressful and tiring at times, the end result is exactly what I have dreamed of. I told a story through what I captured alongside my father, whom I have to thank for leading me down this path. While our styles are somewhat different, they blend well and we are able to capture so much from each of our perspectives. Bryant & Lisa will forever be known as my first "official" wedding clients. That will always hold a special place in my heart. After we had our initial meet-up, I wasn't sure if they would hire me or not, being a less experienced photographer. But they did!! And I cannot thank them enough for allowing me this opportunity. They have a special connection and I think you will see that through this glimpse into their special day. Many blessings to them as they begin their life as one!
I'm still here!
Have no fear, I am still alive. Blogging takes time...on top of editing all the beautiful moments I capture throughout the year. I would like to try and keep up on this blogging business to get my name out there a little more and share my work. I will be shooting my first "official" wedding next month and I couldn't be more thrilled! The ceremony and reception will be taking place at the beautiful Orrmont Estate in Piqua! Dad (aka the "pro") will be second shooting with me. He has allowed me to tag along on several weddings over the past few years, so I am ready! Stay tuned...
And for now I leave you one of my sweet images from a recent session with Baby Jack, who is just 6 months young! What a fun little guy!
![]() ![]() New site up and runningI have been wanting to start up a new, more user-friendly site for some time, just haven't had the time to devote to it. Today was the day. And I am so happy I took the leap to Zenfolio. So much easier for me and hopefully all my clients. I got the basics added today, hoping to work some more on the details this week. Until then...
